School Climate Survey- Week of February 6th
Littleton High School was selected to participate in the ED School Climate Survey/(EDSCLS) National Benchmark Study, which collects information on multiple aspects of school climate
from different stakeholders: students, teachers, and noninstructional staff.
The EDSCLS National Benchmark Study will collect respondent data through
an anonymous, self-administered web survey.
Participation will allow LHS to compare our school’s climate scores against national
averages and schools with similar demographics. The school report will also provide actionable data to address particular challenges as well as areas for improvement.
Please see the emailed information letter. If you do not want your child to participate, this letter also serves as an opt-out form for you to sign and return to the Main Office; however, we do encourage you to allow your son/daughter to participate in this helpful survey.

Most Likely to Succeed- Film Screening
On February 6, 2017, Littleton High School will take part in Most Likely to Succeed’s worldwide campaign to re-imagine education.
The acclaimed film Most Likely to Succeed offers an inspiring look at transforming schools and preparing students for the future. Directed by acclaimed documentarian Greg Whiteley, the film has been an official selection of two dozen of the world’s top film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, and AFI DOCS. It’s been featured at leading conferences on education, including ASU/GSV, SxSWedu, Harvard/Goldman Sachs, and New Schools Venture Fund. Audience members call it the most compelling film ever done on the topic of school. In the past year, more than 2,300 communities have booked a screening of Most Likely to Succeed.
The purpose of this event is to foster meaningful discussion among educators, administrators, parents, and students about our current school model and a vision for local school innovation. The film will be shown on February 6, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Littleton High School Performing Arts Center. It will be followed by a panel discussion and Q & A session.
